Chopsicles might be a fairly random collection of thoughts, reflections, updates and maybe some videos and photos too. I’m not really sure but I enjoy writing and I hope to find something that people enjoy reading.
Chopsicles came from this video which I was doing as a test of the blue/green screen effect. Not 100% sure if its correct, but I heard that the term chops originated from horn players in earlier times who often wore false teeth. Apparently, some players had a special set of teeth, or chops, specially designed for playing and people would say thing like “He’s got his chops in tonight” when someone was really tearing it up. In modern parlance, it can be used to refer to someone with slick skills on an instrument, I’ve mostly heard it used for drums and bass though. Of course, I may be terribly misinformed.
There used to be an error on this page, but James laughed at me, so I fixed it. So who’s laughing now? Hm? Yes, I am.
